Park Admission for Groups - Newton Grove, NC

COVID-19 UPDATE

For all of our farm friends & guests - old and new!

We want to announce that despite the uncertainty of this year and the COVID-19 pandemic, we can’t wait to provide a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly environment where you can enjoy all the fall fun! As always, our top priority is the safety and wellbeing of our guests & staff - so this fall season might look a little different, but nonetheless be loads of fun! Begin planning a trip to our farm where you have plenty of room to spread out & social distance - on our 28 acres (to be exact)!

We want to safely welcome you back to our farm for our 2020 fall season starting on September 12th at 9am, as we officially open! Yes, that means bonfires, picking pumpkins, hayrides, homemade ice cream, getting lost in a maze, gem mining, baby animals, apple cider, & cooler weather is just around the corner - and will be available on our farm! Please feel free to call, email, or text us if you have any concerns!

** NOTICE **

We have worked hard to implement the following procedural changes in an effort to comply and adhere to CDC guidelines. As you well know, all the changes and preventive measures in the world still CANNOT guarantee a completely risk-free environment. With that being considered, any and all guests to our farm are solely responsible and accepting that you may still be exposed to COVID-19. In short, Naylor Family Farm cannot and will not be held liable for any illness or injury resulting from a visit to our farm. Please also visit this article (Session Law 2005-236/House Bill 329) pertaining to any activities on an agritourism operation like ours.

Just a few COVID related changes that we are implementing -

  1. Before we open each day, all of our attractions, commonly touched surfaces and other activities will be sprayed down/cleaned thoroughly with sanitizer/disinfectant

WHAT TO EXPECT UPON ENTERING

  1. ENTRY - According to the NC Executive Order 107, we ask that all of our farm friends, guests & staff wear a face covering when maintaining physical/social distancing is not possible. This means that in our 28 acre outdoor setting we do not require facial coverings IF you can safely maintain social distancing on our farm (or about 3 pigs away from one another). But, of course, they are strongly suggested to be worn your whole visit!!!

  2. We also plan on using a thermal imaging camera system to help detect anyone who may be spiking a fever and does not need to be in a public setting!

  3. Hand sanitizing stations & hand washing stations will be spread out on the farm - we encourage you to bring your own hand sanitizer, clorox wipes and other items you may need… REMINDER - we do have indoor bathrooms for your convenience

ATTRACTIONS

  1. Our farm activities and attractions are spread out, therefore maintaining a safe distance from others should be no problem! But, of course, it is your responsibility to social distance as best you can!

HAYRIDES

  1. We will have our hayride trailers running at around 50% capacity with markings and reminders to maintain your distance between you and other farm guests! Normally, we have three 40ft long trailers (constantly running) to ensure you get on in no time!

  2. Of course, attractions will be open, but we do need your help in reminding your children to give each other space as they explore the farm! Watch for special markings and signs that tell you where to stand!

  3. We have designated staff that will be working on the farm to solely disinfect, clean up, and sanitize attractions before, during and after we open. We also will require our staff to wear a face covering when maintaining social distancing is not achievable.

ONLINE TICKETING

  1. We ask that you go ahead and purchase your farm tickets online, so we can remain as contactless as possible!  And of course, through online ticketing - it helps us maintain a safe group control (but don’t worry - you can still pay when you arrive at the ticket counter in our main barn)!

GROUPS/RESERVATIONS

  1. We also ask that large groups, as always, schedule a reservation/appointment, but split the group and join us on different days/times (if possible) to eliminate such a large gathering at one time. Join us in reading about park safety as you venture out to recreational areas like our farm: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/visitors.html

We ask that everyone be patient and understanding as we go through this tough time! We are learning as we go and want to be as safe as possible - while providing a great outdoor farm experience! We can guarantee that we will probably make mistakes along the way while learning how to safely operate during this challenging time. Please be accepting and patient!

In addition, we are doing our very best to implement new procedures and safety precautions and we ask that if you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are new to this and trying to navigate these new realities just like everyone else!

Can’t wait to see you,

The Naylor Family
